The heart of The Franchise is the fantastic team of creatives who work tirelessly to bring Las Vegas the sports news through their lenses and reporting. We work closely with The Hank Greenspun School of Journalism and Media Studies at UNLV, identifying the school’s brightest and most talented students, and provide them with hands-on training and experience by shadowing and learning from our photographers and journalists in the field and in the press box, respectively. This large team continues to grow every season, as FSM’s goal is to cover ALL Las Vegas sports from The Valley’s youth to our professional athletes.

EXECUTIVES
Terrance "TQ" Quaites
Terrance “TQ” Quaites is the founder, president, and steward of Franchise Sports Media. TQ is a songwriter and singer from Compton, California. TQ has enjoyed a 30-year career in the music industry and worked with some of the biggest artists in music, including Lil Wayne, NSYNC, Cameo, and Too Short to name a versatile few. TQ has always loved sports and sports coverage and started FSM in 2019. TQ serves as the company’s CEO, Editor-in-chief, and is a member of the photography staff.
Trisha LaCoste
Trisha has been photographing people for over twenty years. In 2010, she added videography to her skillset and began shooting music videos, branding videos, and highlight reels. She discovered her love for action photography when her kids played sports. A bit of a nomad, Trisha has lived all over but settled in Vegas in 2021 to build Franchise Sports Media with TQ. She oversees all visuals aspects of the company from photography and videography to the website and graphics.
Maia Perez
Assistant Editor-in-Chief
Maia is the assistant editor for Franchise Sports Media and a student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Media. Maia’s goal is to utilize this degree to advance her career and become a sideline reporter for the NFL.
At UNLV, Maia had the pleasure of being a part of the student-run sports show, Rebel Report, where she had a weekly segment called “Maia’s Minute!”
“In my free time, I enjoy running and lifting weights to stay physically active. I also love when I have time to do my nails and learn new techniques for makeup. Recently, I’ve really challenged myself by trying to be fluent in Spanish and learn some phrases in German, too!”
Photographers
Alon Sowell
Alon has been shooting with Franchise since 2022. He's our Senior Track and Field photographer and author, but shoots all sports for FSM. Alon is originally from Compton, California and is still an active professional Track and Field athlete, competing in national competitions every year.
Jenni Webber
Jenni has been shooting with Franchise since 2024. She shoots all sports. Jenni volunteers to take foster dogs’ pictures and spends free time taking pictures of wildlife for fun. She is also media lead for RollerCon. Jenni is also a former seamstress for professional wrestling.
RJ Ibe
RJ began shooting with FSM in the beginning of 2024. He specializes in photography and videography, and creates lasting, meaningful narratives for all things Las Vegas sports!
Angelo Ednacot
Angelo joined the FSM team in 2024. He specializes in professional photography and videography. He shares a deep appreciation for documenting special moments that allow for storytelling.
Aidan Javier
Aidan graduated from Liberty High School in 2024 and started shooting with FSM in the fall of of that same year. He's a great young sports photographer and videographer, and continues to impress with his creativity.
Sebastian Del Valle
Hi, I'm Sebastian Del Valle, and I've been a photographer for ten years. For the past six years, I've focused my lens on the thrilling worlds of sports and travel, always aiming to bring a fresh perspective to every shot.
RJ Forbus
A former baseball player for Kansas Wesleyan University, RJ began shooting with Franchise in the fall of 2024. He mainly shoots photos but with his unique eye and creative mind can also shoot a great highlight reel when needed!
Tanesha Towns
Affectionately known as TNT, Tanesha started photography in 2023 simply because she wanted to learn what the buttons at the top of the camera were used for. Told to shoot what she loves, she focused on travel and sports photography. She hopes you can see her love of sports through her pictures. She is also proud of her hometown, Compton, CA.
Ethan De Leon
I'm Ethan De Leon and I've been a photographer for eight years. Just this past year, I've shifted my focus over to sports photography in hopes of kickstarting a new career path with FSM! My favorite sport is hockey, but I still love shooting all other sports.
David Cook
My name is David Cook, I am a retired Air Force veteran and sports photographer. I purchased his first camera while stationed in Japan and have been perfecting my craft ever since. I specialize in all sports as well as team pictures, media day, and senior portraits.
Amazon Tiger
My name is Amazon Tiger, originally from the Bay Area. I started my sports career coaching football for P.A.L. With my passion being the game of football, photography has opened me up to many other sports.
Warren Gatling
Warren has been shooting with Franchise since 2024. He has a passion for sports photography and loves being on the field for Friday Night Lights.
Austyn Schaffner
Austyn Schaffner has been a photographer/videographer for 3 years. What started as a hobby over a decade ago, turned into his passion, and sports photography is what he is dedicated to. He aims to capture those key moments that may be missed and those celebrations that will live on forever.
Kaylie Phillips
Kaylie is a current student at Nevada State University where she is on the flag football team. She has been a photographer with Franchise since 2024.
Reporters and Writers
Jordan Vega
Las Vegas Sports Columnist
Jordan Vega is a Mexican American and Native American sports broadcaster from Coachella, California, raised by his mother and grandmother in a predominantly Mexican community. He has played football since age seven and played college football at Orange Coast College. After high school, Jordan served in the U.S. Navy, where he discovered judo and earned two national gold medals while training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Now studying Sports Broadcasting at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and through his work in sports media, he aims to create compelling, authentic content while breaking new ground as one of the few Mexican American and Native American voices in sports broadcasting. His ultimate goal is to become a household name and inspire the next generation to see themselves represented in sports media.
Kalani Lua
Kalani Lua joined FSM in 2019 and has been the lead combat sports contributor. For the 2021-2022 NFL season, he was the weekly pre and post game Las Vegas Raiders writer. He has contributed to coverage for High School football, presented several highlight articles for basketball and is a co-host of The Main Event show on FSM. He has been involved in covering MMA and boxing since 2013 and his love and passion for sports help lead him to find his way to working with Franchise Sports Media.
Mia Green
Mia Green is a full-time senior student at UNLV. Mia comes from a small town in New Mexico, graduating from Piedra Vista High School as a four year letterman of Piedra Vista’s Dance Team. She is very family-oriented and driven to success. Mia has a passion and love for all things sports which was extremely influenced by her parents as she attended several different sports arenas and stadiums as a young girl. She graduates in the Spring of 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Sports Media.
Hannah Serquina
My name is Hannah Serquina. I’m 23 years old and I cover all things football for Franchise Sports Media, with a focus on flag football. I also currently work as an Ambassador for the Las Vegas Raiders. Prior to working for the Raiders I won 4 NAIA Championships in collegiate flag football. I have a deep passion for women in sports and hope to inspire other young girls that they have a place in the sports industry whether it be competing, working, or reporting.
Jake Ideguchi-Furukawa
Jake Ideguchi-Furukawa started out as an intern for Franchise Sports Media in the Fall of 2022 as a senior at UNLV. He covered the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels and the Los Angeles Lakers simultaneously, while still performing his full-time student duties. He also participated in on-campus organizations such as the Scarlet & Gray student newspaper, covering the Rebel football team, and the Rebel Report. Jake graduated from UNLV with a bachelors degree in Sports Media Journalism in 2023.
