702HSFB Nevada State Girls Flag Football  Championships

Last week I shot my first girls’ flag high school football game between Desert Oasis and Basic. It was the first game of the playoffs and I was highly impressed. I’m a tackle guy. I love defense. Hit people. Sack quarterbacks. Outside of the ring/octagon, it’s our gladiator sport. I hated playing flag. It took away most of the things that I loved about the sport. With the NFL Pro Bowl taking on the flag game, and the 7-on-7 season starting over the last month, Flag Football is everywhere right now…

But last night something clicked.

We pull up to the Raiders’ Intermountain Health Performance Center for the girls’ flagl football championships and the first thing I get is Rihanna blaring out of the speakers and DO and Legacy teams lathering up to a frenzy! I was pumped! I was able to see it from the beginning and it became HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL in my head. I was obviously late to the party…

Well, I caught up.

These girls flag football championships were some of the most fun I’ve had shooting sports, and this company will support girls’ flag football for as long as we’re in business. Great job last night ladies. You made your point to Franchise Sports Media and the city of Las Vegas.

We got you.

Congratulations to Desert Oasis and Shadow Ridge. CHAMPIONS.
