The back-to-back WNBA champions were back on their home floor to take on the Dallas Wings after their disappointing loss in Los Angeles snapped their six-game win streak. The game was close in the first half, but Aja Wilson led an efficient attack in the second and pulled away from the Wings en route to a 104-85 victory.

Aja Wilson had an impressive 28 points, 11-22 from the field with 3/4 from three in an ultra-efficient offensive performance. Kelsey Plum and Jackie Young backed up Wilson with 23 and 18 points, respectively. Chelsea Gray was a steadying presence in the backcourt, with 12 points and three assists to round out the starting lineup. The Aces also had one of their best games from behind the three-point line, hitting 14 three-pointers at 38% efficiency.

The Wings were led by Odyssey Sims, who had 25 points in an outstanding offensive performance. The rest of the Dallas roster struggled with efficiency, with the Aces preventing the Wings from getting good shots at the rim. Aja Wilson, in particular, was a menace inside the pain. While she only had two blocks, her mere presence dissuaded the Dallas players at the rim.

A few possessions later, Jacy Sheldon hit a layup to pull the Wings within one at 7-8, but Chelsea Gray cut to the basket and received a pass from Alysha Clark to keep the Wings at bay.

Jackie Young and Arike Ogunbowale traded baskets with each other, and then Ogunbowale drew a foul on a three-point attempt on Kelsey Plum to give the Wings a lead at 17-16 briefly.

Megan Gustafson made a rare basket, hitting a three, but Oddessy Sims made tough shots to give Dallas a 27-25 lead to end the first.

Finally, Kesley Plum and Aja Wilson made back-to-back baskets to give the Aces a 6-point 46-40 lead and prompt a Wings timeout.

Out of the timeout, Natasha Howard hit a mid-range jump shot, and Jacy Sheldon hit a pair of shots to tie the game again at 48-48; Kelsey Plum responded in kind with an and-one basket on a could against Jacy Sheldon to help the Aces regain the lead going into the half 51-48.

Early in the quarter, Natasha Howard and Odyssey Sims created space and drove to the basket to get layups at the rim. Aja Wilson responded with a long-range jump shot, but Odyssey Sims again hit a mid-range jump shot to get the lead to only eight at 71-79. After both teams traded missed shots, Aja Wilson hit her final three of the night to push the lead back to 11 at 82-71. Tiffany Hayes and Chelsea Gray returned to the game and scored four straight points to get the lead to 14 at 87-73.

Over the next several possessions, Kelsey Plum, Aja Wilson, and Jackie Young all scored, breaking the game open and extending the lead to nearly 20, 98-79. With just over two minutes remaining in the game, Dallas waived the white flag and subbed out its starters. After a Kate Martin three, the game ended at 104-85.

It was a solid bounce-back performance for the Aces after a disappointing overtime loss to the Sparks. Aja Wilson continues her dominance as the teams enter the final stretch before the Olympic break.
